Hi AWIEF Admin, I started a Jewelry business last year and I sell my items online. The internet opened me up to customers that I would have never had access to if I had been trading offline, so the opportunity of access to a bigger market has been a positive for me. The challenge has been accessing finance during this time, especially since my business is still relatively new.

Sounds good. So before you were only selling locally and now you are selling nationwide or even worldwide?

Yes, I was able to scale and be accessible to a larger market.

Hi, I started a consultancy business in Marketing and Communications. During the pandamic I lost my job as a Marketing Consultant, so I decided to start my own company. The challenge was not so much finance, as I didn’t need capital to start (only my laptop and phone). The challenge was more finding new customers. Networking is super important, but also more difficult in these times.
